Our SEO agency partnered with a Cloud GPU provider to dramatically increase their organic traffic. When we started working with them in January, the website was receiving just 700 visitors per month. Within a year, we scaled their traffic to 9,000 monthly visitors, resulting in an impressive 1,186% increase.

Challenges

  1. Technical SEO Issues:
The website had several underlying technical issues that were negatively impacting its performance in search engines. Slow page load times, crawlability problems, and improper indexing were preventing search engines from efficiently crawling and ranking the website’s content.
  2. Low-Quality Backlinks:
The client had accumulated a significant number of low-quality backlinks from irrelevant or spammy websites. This poor backlink profile was hurting their domain authority and credibility in the eyes of search engines.
  3. No Keyword Research Strategy:
There was no proper keyword research strategy in place, which meant that the website wasn’t targeting the right search terms to bring in qualified traffic. This lack of focus on high-value, relevant keywords was limiting their reach and visibility in search results.
  4. Improper Site Structure:
The website’s structure wasn’t optimized for user experience or SEO. Poor internal linking and confusing navigation made it difficult for both users and search engines to find key pages, ultimately hindering the site’s overall performance.

Our Approach

  1. Technical SEO Fixation:
We began by conducting a comprehensive audit of the website’s technical SEO. This allowed us to identify key issues such as slow page load times, crawl errors, and indexation problems. Our team worked to resolve these by:
    • Optimizing page load speed for a smoother user experience and better SEO rankings.
    • Fixing crawl errors and ensuring that search engines could index all important pages.
    • Updating the robots.txt file and sitemaps to help search engines navigate the site efficiently.
  2. On-Page SEO Optimization:
After addressing the technical issues, we moved on to on-page SEO optimization. This included:
    • Improving the website’s internal linking structure to guide search engines and users to the most important pages.
    • Optimizing meta tags, headers, and content across the website for targeted keywords.
    • Ensuring that each page followed proper SEO best practices, such as the use of relevant keywords, proper formatting, and mobile optimization.
  3. Keyword Research:
We performed in-depth keyword research to identify high-potential, low-competition search terms that were relevant to the Cloud GPU industry. By incorporating these keywords into the content strategy, we were able to drive more qualified traffic to the site. This included:
    • Targeting a mix of short-tail and long-tail keywords to cover a broader range of user search intents.
    • Optimizing the website’s content around these high-value keywords to increase rankings for both competitive and niche terms.
    • Developing new content to target untapped search opportunities, driving additional traffic.
  4. Backlink Building:
To enhance the site’s authority and reputation, we implemented a strategic backlink-building campaign. Our focus was on obtaining high-quality backlinks from websites with a Domain Authority (DA) of over 80. This included:
    • Conducting outreach to relevant industry blogs, news sites, and influencers to build organic links.
    • Identifying and disavowing low-quality backlinks that were hurting the client’s SEO performance.
    • Creating valuable, linkable content assets, such as industry reports and technical guides, to attract natural backlinks.

Results

  • Traffic Growth:
Our efforts resulted in a substantial traffic increase, growing from 700 visitors per month in January to 9,000 visitors per month within a year. This represented an extraordinary 1,186% increase in traffic, allowing the client to reach a much wider audience.
  • High-Authority Backlinks:
We secured backlinks from websites with a Domain Authority (DA) of over 80, which significantly boosted the client’s domain authority and helped improve their overall rankings.
  • Improved Keyword Rankings:
The client’s website began ranking for several high-value keywords, driving relevant traffic that converted into leads and customers. The targeted keyword strategy increased the site’s visibility for both broad and niche search terms, resulting in more qualified traffic.
  • Stronger Website Structure:
With the improvements in the site’s structure and on-page SEO, both search engines and users found it easier to navigate. This led to a better user experience and higher engagement rates, further boosting the site’s SEO performance.

Conclusion

By focusing on technical SEO, on-page optimization, keyword research, and backlink building, we were able to overcome the client’s initial SEO challenges and deliver substantial traffic growth. The results—a 1,186% traffic increase and improved keyword rankings—demonstrate how a comprehensive SEO strategy can lead to long-term success.

This case study highlights the effectiveness of a holistic SEO approach that tackles both the technical and content-driven aspects of SEO, resulting in sustained growth and better online visibility for businesses in the competitive tech industry.
